The course comes with a variety of video materials for learning many of the basic skills. These will not be covered in class. The videos are provided to help you. In addition, it is recommended that you use a search engine on the web to find help or other deeper instruction.
PowerPoint We will use PowerPoint a lot in this class. Knowing how to use it without getting lost in the bells and whistles will be valuable.
Story Telling Storytelling and sketching are fundamental skills for user experience design. There are several videos on how to build and improve these skills.
Human Capabilities

Human capabilities control what is easy and what is hard in terms of building an interactive system. These videos discuss how user interfaces are impacted by those limitations.
